Chocolate Latte
Latte is a type of drink made with coffee and hot milk. It can be taken as hot latte or iced
latte. This is easy to make yet so delicious. Chocolate is nutritiously rich and comes from cacao beans. The
cacao trees are native to South America. There are four types namely: dark, milk, semi sweet and white
chocolate.
Cacao beans have a high level of antioxidants. Antioxidants suppress free radicals that can
damage healthy cells in the body. Dark chocolate contains magnesium and fewer calories than milk chocolate. Dark
chocolate has the highest level of the cacao and this makes it the healthiest of all chocolates.
White chocolate has no caffeine and it’s made from cocoa butter. White chocolate latte is
typically one third coffee and two thirds steamed milk, but a portion of chocolate is added. It could be in form of
sweet coca powder or chocolate syrup. First you must decide the milk to use. At most coffee shops, 2 % whole milk
is standard but you can use any type of milk for a latte. Soy milk can be used to make soy latte, using skimmed
milk makes skimmed chocolate latte and using the half and half makes a breve latte.
Making a hot chocolate latte is easy to prepare and below is the instructions. You’ll need
hot chocolate, instant latte, sugar and hot water. To mix put a tablespoon full of the hot chocolate and the sugar
into a cup, pour the boiling water. Mix till the cocoa powder clumps are gone. Pour in your instant latte and stir
it well. This stuff clumps as well. Sprinkle some cocoa powder on top and enjoy your latte.
To make chilled chocolate latte, you need. Espresso coffee, water, cocoa powder granulated
sugar, milk. To prepare scoop coffee and add water to your coffee maker just like you make your regular coffee and
start the coffee making process. While waiting for your coffee to brew, measure your sugar and cocoa and put in to
a bowl. When your coffee is brewed leave it to cool slightly then pour into the pitcher and mix well so that the
sugar dissolves completely. Leave it to cool completely and then add milk. Chill it. You can now enjoy your chilled
chocolate latte.
Chocolate caramel latte is a combination of espresso, steamed milk, caramel sauce or caramel
melts. To make a caramel latte, a person must pull shots of espresso, steam milk, create froth, and add caramel to
the drink. Sometimes caramel lattes are topped with whipped cream and drizzled with syrup for a special touch.
You require; 1cup of milk, 4 pc caramel melts, and 1 cup pc gourmet coffee. Heat the milk in a
medium saucepan over medium heat-high heat and whisk for 30 seconds or until frothy. Place two caramel melts in
each of two mugs. Divide hot coffee between the mugs, stirring with a fork to dissolve melts. Divide milk between
the mugs spooning from the top.
