It is important to know which coffee brand is ruling the world if you are new in the coffee
business or even if you are merely a consumer. Coffee just like any other raw material has to go through sorting
and fine grinding into any brand that is required by the consumer. So the world has its most recognizable coffee
brands such as the ones below.
Best coffee brands
With coffee having many brands it is impossible to come up with a single best brand but sampling
the different brands will enable one come up with a good comparison and experience. Some coffee brands are known
for making instant coffee while others are specialists of brewed coffee. The likes of Starbuck coffee are
specialist of making brewing coffee and their kind of products are affordable to the low and middle earners in the
society. The likes of Nescafe are known for making instant coffee that do not need any brewing before it is
consumed.
Espresso Coffee Brands
This is a concentrated coffee drink that is made by forcing hot water under pressure through
smoothly or finely ground coffee. The major characteristic that makes espresso coffee different from others made
through different processes is the thicker consistent, a high concentration of dissolved solid and crema which is
thick reddish brown foam that floats on the surface. Due to pressurized brewing the espresso makes a cup of
concentrated flavors and chemicals.
This makes the brand as the sole base for drinks like the latters, cappuccino, macchiato and
mochas. The espresso also holds higher caffeine in each cup of coffee compared to other coffee brands. Espresso is
not a distinct coffee bean instead it is a method of making coffee so any bean or roasting can make an authentic
espresso. Making an espresso needs an espresso machine and an experienced brewer.
There are different variations of espressos namely the affogato, Americano, antoccino, the black
eye which is a cup of coffee with two shots of espresso in it. The bombon is an espresso mixed with condensed milk
mostly drunk at the south East Asia .The cappuccino, which is traditionally 1/3 steamed milk,1/3 microfoam which is
sometimes toped with light cocoa powder dusting. Espresso coffee is popular in different parts of the world with
different kind of preparation, in Europe it is the most sort after brand mostly in France, Portugal, Italy and
Spain.
This does not mean it is not liked in Brazil Cuba, Argentina, Israel and other parts of America.
In countries like New Zealand, Australia and arctic nations it makes all commercial coffee drinks in the
coffeehouses and restaurants. In the United States the influx of Cuban refugees brought with them the love for
espresso making it a liked brand of coffee beverage in states with large number of Italians and Cubans.
Cities like the Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and San Francisco have along history
of espresso drinking. The rise of coffee chains and stores like the Starbuck, Seattle’s best coffee and Dunn bros
coffee has just added the passion for espresso coffee.
